Read the news today and wanted to bring to the attention of that the Empty Home Tax created in 2016, has brought in net $39.7 million to help with affordable housing in the Vancouver area.
As we roam through the subdivisions and past the houses in South Surrey/White Rock, that have news papers and flyers piled high on their door step, and lawns un-cut, I believe we can
all agree, the neighborhoods, would benefit to have families living in these homes, too.
What we are noticing, is suites are being created in a number of large holiday homes, so the very least there are tenants occupying a portion of the property.
