South Surrey/White Rock, typically follows the ripple of the Vancouver Market and judging by the new listings we put on last week, we are seeing similar.
We cannot say the same for retirement one or two level townhomes, with master bedrooms on the main. They continue to get a lot of attention, as they are simply not being built anymore. The ripple effect of selling the family home, and not ready to move into a local condo or leave the area.
The market was naturally slowing, for a few months. It will be months to confirm, the effect of the 15% foreign tax.
