In 2015, we experienced the busiest year since, 2005. The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board recorded 21,095 sales last year, this was 33% higher than 2014 with, 15,840 sales and .09% lower than 2005 with 21,282 sales.
Consumers realize the long term value of home ownership, which does not appear to be stopping.
With the continued low interest rates, flow of off shore buyers, and limited supply of homes, the search for buyers is challenging, as sale prices continue to increase.
This is leading more buyers to the townhome and condo market, where prices have been dragging.
